new grass in New Jersery NE

I am located in north east new jersey. I am regrowing my lawn next week. I round up everything and now I am putting top soil. I am trying to decide the type of grass. I want very thick plush grass. In my local stores I found Ryegrass and mixed grass. Please help find the right grass to grow.

I can tell you from my Southern Hew Jersey experience, Fescue blends w/ perenial rye work well. Drought resistant.
