I have light brown spots surrounded by darker brown on my floratam. Any ideas what it is and how to treat?

If the brown spots are on the leaf blades you may have a fungus that produces brown/purple lesions or “Gray Leaf Spot”. Normally Floratam is somewhat resistant to the fungus that causes the problem, but I guess if it is humid enough and you recently fertilized with high Nitrogen stuff, you could have it. Take a look at the Florida Lawn Handbook reference and see if that helps.
