I live in Florida and we are just starting to get a lot of fleas in the backyard and they are attacking our dog. What can I use to put on the ground to help control them?

The big stores sell hose end spray insecticides for your situation. How large is the area you wish to treat.

I really don’t know, but I would guess about 70′ x 50′.

Thye hose end product will do approx 5000 sq feet which would be a 100 x 50 so yes the hose end application will work. you can also try the granuels if you prefer that, although I think you will get better results from a spray. Do you have a thatch layer that exceeds 0.5 inchs?if so this will prevent the insecticide from reaching the soil.
