Now that the fungus seems under control I have discovered that I have what appears to be Sod Webworms. Lots of Moths flying out of the grass, webs covering the grass in the morning. Areas of what looks like straw/dead grass mixed in with the green areas – although there are some heavily concentrated areas of dead grass blades. I put down insecticide granules a few weeks back – the problem only seemed to get worse. So a few days ago I got some liquid Triazicide and applied at 3OZ per gallon in a hoze end sprayed. It seems to have helped. I’m not seeing as many moths fly up out of the ground now and I haven’t seen any webs in the grass after two days. Any other recommendations? Should I be concerned about dormant larvae in the soil or anything that might come out in the Spring?

You should be Ok until spring, but you will definitely have to spray again in spring when the weather is warm enough to hatch bugs!
