I am going to put annual ryegrass for the winter and when the spring comes around I will put down centipede. There is nothing but weeds in my yard so I am going to spray round up and wait for a week or so and then put down the annual ryegrass. So what do you guys think?

Sounds reasonable. I recommend you use a pre-emergent herbicide such as atrazine or pendamethalin before planting your centipede. Will you seed or sod?

Using a pre-emergent like Atrazine will damage new sod. . .

What an excellent idea to apply pre-emergent prior to seeding a lawn. Unbelievable. That way neither your weed seeds or your desired turf seed will germinate and you can be a dirt farmer.
Turfie, you need to quit dispensing advice until you read a label or two and find out what a pre-emergent is. You do not apply a pre-emergent within at least a month, usually longer, prior to seeding, and it doesn’t help sod establishment either.
