St augustine turning colors

I live in Orlando and my St Augustine is turning purple. It is happeinnig in half of my front yard. Could somone please tell me what to do.

Probably just a reaction to the cold. Unless you’ve recently applied some type of pesticide, I wouldn’t worry. If you have applied something in the last week or two give your county agent a call next week.

My lawn is new. It was laid at the end of September. My floratam is doing the same thing. I am getting dark purple veins in the blades. Any ideas what this is? I live in Punta Gorda – Southwest Florida.
