Sod Pullers

I live in Michigan and we just laid down about 1/2 acre of sod around our new home. Within 2 days, we noticed that about 2 peices had been pulled up and away from the dirt. Since then, its gotten so much worse! We have no idea what’s doing it happens at night while we sleep. Now, almost 1/2 of our backyard is tore up each morning and we have to go “sod stamping” before heading to the office. Any suggestions? Noone seems to have heard of this ever happening!

My first guess would be skunks.

Bears will do this but I would think you would see sign (tracks ect.).
