HELP! ST AUGUSTINE COMPETING WITH CENTIPEDE

Help! I’ve been plugging and sprigging Centipede in my yard for about 5 yrs and it’s doing great. It’s finally really spreading in. When we moved in to this house however, there was already a stand of St. Augustine. I left it because it’s beautiful grass, but now it’s spreading through some of my centipede (very rapidly) Does anyone know of a way to kill the St. Augs but not damage the Centipede? Thanks for your help!

Nope, you kill one, you will kill the other.
Just enjoy the mixture of the two as it will make for a very thick and tight lawn.
Just remember to fertilize and plan your lawn maintence for the highest percentage of grass in your yard.
