Floratam Grass

I bought three pallets of Floratam, and then planted it? After about 2 months I mowed it. It’s been about 6 months now, I haven’t mowed it since, and my problem is that it is now overgrown w/weeds. The weeds are so big now that anyone passing by my house will think that, that is all my yard is just weeds and no grass. I have started pulling them out by hand one by one, of and on, after about three weeks I am almost done. What am I to do when I finish? My plans are to mow it, then pour huge amounts of weed and feed on it. If anybody has the time and knowledge on this type of situation please let me know. E-mail me, I believe it would be faster. Mow your lawn more than once every 8 months and you would not have the issue. If you but down Weed & Feed your grass will grow more and so will some weeds. Best bet MORE YOUR LAWN! Your neighbors must think your a hillbilly!
