How can I kill St. Augustine grass in my Burmuda grass lawn without killing my Burmuda?

I think the fertilizer requirements for SA and bermuda are vastly different. And when hit with a high N fertilizer SA checks out. At least that has been my experience. When I begin my program in ernst, about two weeks ago, that’s it for the SA.

Alternatively you may want to use something like Drive 75. It’s to control dollar weed, but definately not labeled for SA. Even if you do not have dollar weed, spray the offending area; won’t hurt the bermuda, but sure gets the SA.
