What would be a good rate/1000 of MSMA to get a good burn on broadleaf and grassy weed infested bermuda. Would turf benefit from a liquid fert. and or iron mix with the MSMA.

Check the label of the specific product you purchased. The active ingredient varies too much to say use X ounces/1000 SF.

I lean toward first putting down your iron or fertilizer and not mixing them with the MSMA. This avoids any chance of a reaction that ruins the MSMA or the fertilizer. Fertilizing first will get the weeds going and make them more sensitive to the herbicide.

Good luck

Read the label. The formulation of MSMA I use calls for 1oz/1000sqft. It doesn’t do alot for broadleaf weeds.

msma is for grassy weeds, 24d is for broadleaf weeds. anything can burn anything i guess, but you really have to use the correct product for each type of weed.
