Hello everyone,
I hope I am not asking the same question over and over again that others have asked. I realized when I walked my foot would give into these gaps in my yard and noticed that underneath the green St Augustine grass that I have 1/2 to 1 inch gaps. Looks like when the home was built 6 months ago that who ever put the sod down did not put them right next together in places. What if anything should I do? I was thinking of getting a buckets of dirt and a small garden shovel and filling them in but if I do this I would cover up the green health grass. Would it pop back up? I don’t know what is the best action here if any. I am not an expert here so any ideas would be a huge help.
Thanks

Use sand.

Sand is the way to go. It may look bad initially but you’ll be suprised how fast it will be covered by stolons.
