I live in NW Florida (Tallahassee). Is it too late in the year to fertilize now that it’s early September? Also, what is the best leveling agent (black top soil, white play sand, etc.) for centipede? Is it too late in the year to level with the soil / sand given that the grass will go dormant in a few months?
