Take your time, don’t rush it. It will be green enough before you know it. Temperatures are what it needs. It will green up soon enough.
Hold tight…….

was just wondering since i have put nothing on this yard since i bought the house. i’ve just cut yard 4 times before winter set in last year and now it’s starting to warm up here now after 3 weeks worth of showers and i’ve noticed it had shot up 3 inches. new to zoysia grass and didn’t know if i needed to fertilize it now to stimulate the greening process. i know this is a durable grass as i have just put 2 huge decks on my house , after a addition during that first week of rain and me and my brother were working all over it, back and forth and you can’t even tell we were on it now.

Fert would’nt hurt but I suggest you get a soil test on your yard to see what it may be lacking. Then build your program around the results. Have you put any Preemergence Crabgrass control down yet?
Good Luck
