Yellow Bermuda

Will overwatering cause Bermuda to turn yellow? I just bought a home in the north part of Louisiana with an installed sprinkler system. The bermuda around the perimeter of the house is mostly light yellow. The sprinkler heads in this area are the type that send out a fine mist. The grass in the other areas of the lawn (with the rotating nozzle type heads) are green. Is the yellow an indication of too much or too little water?

IMO the sprinklers system that builders put in new homes are junk, all the ones around my house either water concrete way too much and/or have dry spots everywhere. It sounds to me that the light yellow places are not getting enough water, the pop-ups they installed probally are not overlapping each other, which will not get water to areas that are close around the pop-ups. I decided not togo with the builders “system” but went with a professional company and I have the best system on my street. Builders probally pay 500-800 dollars but charge the homeowner 2000 plus interest basically, I paid 2800 but it was well worth it.
