Hi there.
Don’t know if you already made a decision about what to do about the visible roots in your St.Aug., but if I were you, I would simply get a good sized load of topsoil and thinly cover your exposed roots.
MAKE SURE however, that you buy your topsoil from a reputable company.
Down here in Florida, a LOT of hinky topsoil is floating around here nowdays, tainted with herbicides, diseases, sugar cane bugs (You DON’T want those!!!), and all kinds of really bad stuff.
So, I am hoping you will heed this warning–
WARNING:
ASK AROUND– AND ASK PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THEIR TOPSOIL INSTALLED FOR A WHILE!! NOTJUST SOMEBODY WHO IS GETTING A LOAD THIS WEEK THAT “LOOKS GOOD”! ;D
