Trans.Zone $Spot plea for help

Here in Lou. Ky., superintendents all over the city are dealing with some unusuall strain of dollar spot in cool season turfs of all kind. The disease seems to attack even the dryest, deepest rooted bentgrass greens and tees. All conventional and non-typical cultural practices only seem to mediate the situation. The majority of research, lab and field, have trended to a complex mixture of contact to systemic fungicides on preventative rates and intervals. The problem of timing preventatively is all but imposible to acheive. My question is; Is there some tip, conventional or otherwise, that someone in my region can offer me to help my situation? The membership and staff of my club would greatly appreciate any info that could be passed along.
