Topdressing Bermuda

I have a new bermuda hybrid lawn (sod was laid this past December) in an area that was formerly woods (new home construction). The surface of my lawn is very “wavy” and does not get along well with my McLane reel mower. I’d love to level the yard. Is topdressing an effective way of doing this? Thanks for any insight you might share.

I think it is very hard to get it level if it did not go in level. Try scattering sand in the low spots every week until it is what you want. Don’t smother the bermuda, though. Use no more than 1/3 inch per week.
