someone mentioned an “agent” to put down to guard against thatch buildup in Zoysia. Anyone know what that is and if it works?

I have been waiting for an answer to that question – never heard of a de-thatching agent – have always done it the old-fashioned way.

Jerry Baker has a concoction that is supposed to work. Never tried it myself.(I have always found beer better IN me than ON my lawn) Theory being; juice up the microbes to eat the thatch. I still say mechanical is best for heavy thatch accumulations
