St Augustine Dying
jwvice – posted 10 July 2004 16:45
We put down St Augustine in the backyard about two months ago. We watered it every day for almost a month and the grass was doing wonderfully. It has been raining almost everyday here, for about a month. Now the grass looks dead with very little grass blades.
Could this be from all the rain? Is there anyway to revive it?
Thanks,Jeremy in Birmingham

My guesses:
– Grass is drowning- Nutrients have been washed out- you have a fungus
Grab some grass and soil and go to your nearest extension service and get their advice. If you have a fungus then fertilizer will make it worse.
