Any help will be greatly appreciated

That was a fungus disease. Hopefully it did not kill your grass.
The organic solution to most all fungus diseases is ordinary corn meal applied at a rate of 20 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Give it 3 weeks to kill the fungus and your grass should start to return.
The back up to corn meal is 3 ounces of baking soda per gallon of water sprayed on the fungus.
