St. Augustine Black Root Rot(Black Patch)

Established St. Augustine Southern exposure lawn suffering from fungis disease primarily subject to most intense heat all day-worst area where weeds are heavy(Sedge type grass weed heavy).Location near roadway very bad and expanding toward house.Southern exposure in shade ,and Northern exposure, not showing this problem.Plugs planted in area seem ok but not flourishing.Scotts E-mail advice states Daconil fungicide no longer available.Fungicide which will do good is only available for application by professionals.I concur with response to Pauls “dying”msg as to relief from Fall cooler days etc and GGG diagnosis.Any advice as to steps to avoid problem return next year.I suspect high Nitrogen content of Turfbuilder contributes to stress on lawn in July and promotion of weeds which seems to sponsor moisture retention leading to fungis .Any advice or experience sharing appreciated.John J
