Spring feeding of Zoysia in Atlanta

Is now a good time to fertilize in Atlanta. Zoysia is still brown but I think the extremely cold weather is over. I had good luck with Scott’s all season but wondering if I should put some type of weed and feed on it for my first application of the Spring.

I always fertilize it in early June. Fertilizing it too early could reduce its root growth.
