Is there a way to get rid of Spanish Moss in my oak trees without killing them????. and also how do i keep my yard green year round without spending a lot of money on expensive fertilization i put out milaraganite this winter or before winter and still no green i quess i was lied to about its uses and how it works. thanks all replies welcome.

you can have them sprayed with copper sulfate. notice i said “have them sprayed,” not you can spray them. any pest control operator can do this for you.

Moss can be separated from the trees extremely easily with a pruning saw held flat against the bark of the tree and scraped under the base of the moss.
Not knowing where you live, but around here (San Antonio, TX) St Augustine grass is kept green in the winter by watering it weekly all year long. Bermuda and zoysia go dormant no matter what but the St Aug will stay green and actually need to be mowed.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
