Sod problems

hello,my problem is that i just had sod installed a week ago and i watered the sod every day . But the gurss turned to brown aeven the green grass is turining to brown at the top some parts are ok while rest are brown what should i do. Also i used to have rocks on the place but now we removed theme but some may still be therer we had profashionals do this ok thank you .
