Seville St. Aug. & Centipede Compatibility

I’m in North Florida (Tallahassee) and will be sodding my back yard very shortly. The predominant grass in this area is Centipede with quite a few people also using “standard” St. Augustine. I’ve been told that Seville is a “dwarf” variety of St. Augustine that is very similar to Centipede in terms of appearence (color, blade width and texture, lower growing height, etc.). However, as with most St. Augustine grasses, the Seville still growns well in the shade, unlike Centipede. About a third of my back yard is in the shade so I was planning to plant the Seville there with the hope that it would blend in well with the Centipede which will be planted in the sunnier parts of the yard. Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with mixing this varitety of St. Augustine with Centipede?
