Ridding Wild Bermuda in St Aug

I have read about Prograss, at the right application intervals early in the Spring, controlling bermuda in St Aug. I have also heard that the Prograss regimen is NOT for controlling Wild Bermuda, but is effective on “Domestic” Bermuda. Is there a difference? Can Fusilade be used on Wild Bermuda in St Aug? Can very diluted Ornamec be used, quite a few apps, for the same control in St Aug? However, I have read Ornamec is really not labelled for use in St Aug.

what is your cutting height for SA? Watering practice?

Cut at 4″; water only when turning dark and wilted looking. Due to rain, I’ve only had to water once in months….

Hmmm. Then I don’t know. I guess you just have to learn to live with it. At that cutting height SA should dominate. In my subdivision, only 2 houses have SA and the rest have bermuda. Maybe a few have tall fescues but probably a big mistake since it’s full sun. No mature trees anywhere in that subdivision. Anyway, those two houses with SA, they still have them in the front yard despite that the next doors have bermuda. So far, it’s nicely divided between them. I took a closer look and saw some bermuda runners trying to invade but so are SA trying to invade bermuda. LOL. Good luck…
