I want to create a putting green in my back yard. I live in Jacksonville Florida and would like to know what would be the best type of grass to use and why. Can anyone help. Thanks

Tifdwarf bermuda is the most commnly used. There are others that tolerate lower mowing heights, but are not recommended for home use because of higher maint. requirements. If you don’t mind the extra work- the other types are- Floradwarf, Tifeagle, Champion, and mini verde
