New sod overseed?

New yard sodded in October in Kentucky. Sod company says they use “Scotts Tall Fescue” seed. Quite a few thin/bare spots. Should I broadcast seed over the entire lawn now? If yes… should I use the same original seed or blend in a different tall or thin fescue variety? Appreciate your advice.
