My Myers is dying out

I planted a couple of pallets of Myers Zoysia 6 weeks ago here in Birmingham, AL. Everything went down great and was looking fine. I have been watering every morning for about twenty minutes. As of late,it has started to die out and thin out significantly. I’m at a loss as to why this is occuring. I sprayed the lawn with Miricle grow lawn food and Sevin for grubs and I believe that has made it worse. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

you’ve been in the “establishing sod” watering pattern for too long. have you been getting rains from tropical actiivity? also what’s in the lawn food?

Thanks ted, I’ll cut back on the watering. Especially since Ivan has dumper about six inceh on us. The only thing I applied the the lawn is Miracle grow lawn food and Sevin for possible grubs. After those applications is when I saw significant thinning and browning. Could the Miracle grow burn it out? Do you have any suggestions as to what to do now??? Thanks!
