Mulching

For years I have owned Honda rotary walk behind mowers. I have always either bagged the yard or used the side-discharge chute. However, I do not like to bag my hybrid bermuda. I’m curious to know what some of your opinions are about the mulching kit. Does it work on hybrid bermuda? I would like to keep the clippings on the lawn if possible.
I have heard that if the high-lift blade is replaced with the mulching blade that bagging is not as effective.
I have hybrid bermuda in the front and I have KY31 Tall fescue in the back.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
