Martian soil in Georgia

I live on the westside of Atlanta, and I have Bermuda grass on 1/4 of my yard, but the other 3/4 looks like the Martian landscape —- red clay and millions of rocks. I tried seeding it with Fescue, but it really didn’t take. Can anyone suggest a grass that will thrive in this type of soil?

use martiangrass.seriously, I saw some beautiful fescue in buckhead the other day. fescue works, but bermuda/zoysia are also good choices. starting to wonder if there aren’t more issues than just the soil? have your lawn tested.when did you seed the fescue?
