I recently killed of my lawn of zoisia grass and intend on planting fescue. Is zoisia as hard to get rid of as bermuda is??

just roundup it using pro strenth roundup. you might have to do it twice- where do you live?

I live in Kansas. I gave it four shots of the strongest roundup at Wal-Mart and it seemed to have killed it off pretty good. We have had a lot of rain this summer and it never turned green so I think I got it killed. I was just wondering if it might try to come back in a year or two like Bermuda.

if you have killed it correctly, and follow proper planting techniques and fertilization on the fescue, you should be in good shape.
