JaMur sod

I just had my full sunlight lawn in San Antonio sodded with JaMur Zoysia. Before I had this done, my lawn was full of wildflowers, and some Bermuda grass. It is becoming green, and is quite beautiful. However, I am getting what I think is Bermuda grass coming up predominantly through the seams in the sod, and sometimes in the middle of the sod. I have been pulling them up from the roots when the soil is wet, and they do seem to be seperate from the sod, and coming from the soil below. But I’m not totally sure. Since this is my first time, I’m not totally certain that I am not actually pulling up tufts of the JaMur.
These tufts do seem to have a wider blade, and are reaching 6-8″ in height. I am also getting other varieties of vegetation, but I have been pulling them before they have the chance to take root well. I can’t seem to find out how high JaMur grows when left alone, but I believe it doesn’t get to 8″. Hope I’m doing the right thing. Any advice?-kevin
