I have recently seeded some SSP as I read a lot of good benefits of this grass. I planted about 3000 sq ft. as I have a fairly sized front yard. The weather has been around 85 degrees which is the optimum weather for this grass according to what I have read.
As of today, I’m on day 12 since I sowed the seeds but have not seen any seedlings sprout yet. There’s a a lot of mixed information on the net about the time of germination but I’m going to stick to the 21 days or less rule. This worries me a bit since I will only have about two months or less of summer which ends in 9/22/11 but I shall see.
I don’t see a lot of people talking about this grass in residences and it’s not that common here in California as I thought it would be. Anyway, if anything ends up growing, I will post up pics.
