Interesting question

Howdy. I’m writing a suspense novel and need a bit of technical assistance. I’m hoping a detective can ascertain that a body was buried on a deep-south sod farm (by Mobile) because of trace chemicals found on the body.

Thus my question: Is there any chemical–or other substance–used in sod farming that wouldn’t be found at another type of farm, at least in the southern Alabama area?

If possible, could you post the response to

? Many thanks for any assistance.

jack, I’m really not sure what you are after but here is a chemical that was used and still is on golf courses(I don’t know about sod farms). Nemacure, it is a nematicide(kills nematodes and alot more). This stuff is nasty. Causes cancer over the long haul but can bring a man down in a few minutes if not used properly. I think Bayer makes the stuff and you will be able to find a label at their website…….

Hope this helps…

Good Luck…..
