I am I doing this right?

How long should it take to plant a 10 pound bag of grass seed? I have planting for two days now. Also how close together should I be planting the seeds? How deep should I be digging the seed holes? I only about 1/4 of my yard done.

You should use a broadcast spreader. To be sure you are not dugging little holes? 10# of seed will not go far. How big is your yard?
