lawn overgrown with weeds?
hi, i just bought a house in central florida…..anyways, the yard had a nice lush st. augustine lawn, but having been neglected over 8 years…it’s now riddled with native weeds that are taking over…especially sand spurs. i have tried pulling, but it’s really ineffective as there are just too many. i also tried a few st. augustine safe chemicals, but they seem to be very ineffective and do absolutely nothing to the sand spurs.
basically i’m looking for any insight/advice on product(s) that work, and/or systems to help eradicate the weed invasion without having to kill the whole lawn and start over.
thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts/insight, etc.
cheers,
jesse
