How to identify current type grass
yellow1eyedog – posted 14 May 2003 19:42
Hello,
Is there a way to identify what type of grass is in the yard? I have checked with local sod centers and the samples they have do not look like what I have.
I would like to find out what the proper care for the lawn is.
Also if it can’t be identified, is there an “all purpose” fertilizer I can use in the fall?
I live in costal SC.
Thanks

Easiest way is to upload an image and then post the image URL here in the forums. Then alot of folks can look at it and help identify. There are some pretty bright people posting here.
I am sure that if you contacted Phil (aka seed), he might be of some assistance.

Thanks for the input. I will get the hubby to take the picture and down load it for me. It may take a couple of days.
Thanks again.
