I am not sure what is wrong with my grass but it is not looking so good.
My house was built last spring and we moved in March 2006. Grass did wonderful the first year in fact we had the nicest grass in the neighborhood. Now it is spring yet again and for som reason my grass is not coming in very well.. I have brown patches and other patches of very dark green that is just gorgeous. My grass is Centipede and I have an irrigation system. My watering is only 20 mins 3 times a week.. I live in Hope Mills, NC.. Can anyone help me?

Hello, Its sounds like it could be a disease called brown patch. Another potential problems is grubs. To hceck for this lift a piece of the dead area back. If it peels back like a carpet its GRUBS. Your watering time table is fine for this time of year. Any lawn care pro can easily identfy your problem on site if you have any trouble. Good luck.
