HELP ME!!! BAHIAGRASS/BERMUDAGRASS PROBLEMS
COLLEEN – posted 02 July 2004 18:22
We seeded our yard 2 years ago with bahiagrass seed mixture. we found it was horrible and saw another yard in our neighborhood that we liked and they said it was bermuda. This year we put down bermuda grass seed (over what had already grown last year) and now have these tall weeds that sprout at the top and look to have seeds on each sprout. what is this weed and how do i get rid of it? should i just till up the yard and start fresh? (our lawn still isn’t completely in yet) i was hoping to put some sort of chemical down and reseed again w/ hybrid bermuda seed. what can anyone suggest?

A product called Manor will do a fair job controlling Bahia in a Bermuda lawn.
