I have a lawn service I pay to fertilize (chemlawn) about 300$ for 6 mo. They called me today to tell me I have brown patches, which I already knew and was going to call them on. They said I have grass web worms. It will take about two applications to get rid of and will cost an additional 57$ each treatment. Iv’e never heard of web worms. They told me they live right beneath the surface of the thatch and are more prevelent in humidity, which we have experience a lot of lately. Is it worth it? or is there something I can apply myself that won’t kill the grass further? Thanks, Mara

Go to Walmart and get some type of insecticide. It shouldn’t take two applications. They are trying to get more money from you. Also, go to Southern States or somewhere else that sells fertilizers and they will have some type of insecticides
