grass for video

Hi,I do time-lapse video work (http://iecology.net) and have been asked to do a project showing grass growth. So I need a grass that will grow relatively fast, medium height, and produce a nice thick green lawn appearance. They asked for no spots of soil showing so this might be a mater of camera angle as much as anything. Also, I will be growing/shooting on a set where I would like to run lights 24/7. Any suggestions.
