HOW MANY TIMES A YEAR DO YOU AERATE FIELD AND WHEN?HOW OFTON DO YOU FERTILIZE FIELD AND WHAT OUR GOOD PRODUCTS?HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU PUT SEED DOWN AND WHAT MONTHS?WHEN DO YOU WEED KILL YOUR FIELD AND HOW MANY TIMES AYEAR?CAN YOU CUT THE GRASS WHEN IT IS RAINING?MUST YOU BAG GRASS EVERYTIME?SHOULD YOU MOW THE FIELD CHANGING PATTERN FROM WEEK TO WEEK

I don’t have a playing field, but I have a friend in Canada who is the greens keeper for a 100% organic golf course. I can give you the answers he would give.

Aeration: zero times per year. Not needed with organic program. Fertilizer: 2 times with ordinary corn meal at 10 pounds per 1,000 square feetSeed: Annually in fall (cool season grass)Weed kill: Zero times per year. The healthier grass seems to be overtaking the weeds. Mow when raining: Not on a golf courseBag clippings: NoChange pattern weekly: Only for looks, not for the grass.

You didn’t ask but…Fungicide: Corn meal as needed.Pesticide: NoneWatering: Mother Nature
