Dormancy blues – invading Bermuda

A section of my SA lawn is in competitionwith Bermuda. During the summer it wasdoing fine, and outgrowing the Bermuda. Now, the SA is not growing verticallyany more, but the Bermuda hasn’t stopped.
I’m going to mow the region (cutting downthe Bermuda–SA not growing) but I knowit’s not much. Prograss is only for Spring. Will putting down “Bonus S” now do anythingto abate the Bermuda? I used it in theSpring but am hesistant about hittingsemi-dormant SA with atrazine & N.
Note: I did put down Pre-M in October, but that only affects new plants startingfrom seed, and not perennials like Bermuda.

If your willing to try something a little different do this:1. Let the grass grow so that the Bermuda is 2-4 inches higher than the St Augustine.2. Wrap a piece of terry cloth around a wooden dowel a couple of times and tie it on.3. Tie strings to each end of the dowel so it can hang horizon to the ground.4. Soak the terry cloth in roundup5. Walk around holding the dowel above the St Augustine but low enough to touch the bermuda.
This is like a wet whip that is used by golf courses.
Good luck!
