bermuda question

I have moved to east Tenn recently and my lawn has a lot of bermuda and other mixed in and after fertilizing several times the bermuda is really turning green.. which is what i wanted.. my question is how long will it take for bermuda to take over my entire lawn? 1-2 seasons or longer?? and will mowing it more often help this effect?? as you can see i’m new to bermuda.. thanks

I think if you were trying to get rid of it, it would take over this season. Since you’re trying to improve it, it will probably take years to get full coverage (c;
If you mow short at 1/2 to 1 inch tall, it should be nice shortly and crop off all the rest of the plants (weeds) in the turf.

Thanks, thats what i was inclined to believe.. i will mow it short a few times and see what gives.. it apears to be hard to kill.. so since i want, it i will have to fertilize it..
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
