I WORK FOR A CITY MUNICAPALITY IN SOUTH FLORIDA.ONE OF OUR SPORT’S FIELDS EVERY SPRING EARLY SUMMER DEVELOPS SOME KIND OF FUNGUS.YOU HAVE SPRINKLERHEAD CENTER THREE FOOT RADIUS OF GREEN GRASS,THE NEXT FIFTEEN FEET OF RADIUS IN SAME CIRCLE IS BROWN[ALMOST DEAD],THEN THE NEXT TWENTY FEET IS GREEN.I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS HYDRPHOBIA OR NEMATOADS.NO MATTER HOW MUCH WATER WE HAVE PUT DOWN IT STILL WILL NOT COME BACK.WE HAVE USED A CHEMICAL CALLED LIQUID WET WHICH SOLVED PROBLEM ONLY UNTIL NEXT SEASON.MY QUESTION IS,ARE THESE THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS AND IS TERE ANY PREVENTATIVE MAINTAINANCE THAT CAN BE PERFORMED. Hi BADBOY.Not quite sure what your problem is but are all sprinklers working.Is enough water going on ? Probe the brown areas to check the depth of mositure.Maybe dry patch.Greenkeeper
