Bermuda grass in Zoysia

Please tell me what I can put on my zoysia lawn to stop the spred of bermuda grass. The sod company where I purchased the zoysia three years ago, said the zoysia would eventually choke out the bermuda, but this is not true. I have areas where the bermuda is actually choking out the zoysia.

Hi There, I too have dem burmuda grass in my Empire Zoysia lawn. I live near New Orleans in Marrero and dat dem Sod Company say burmuda is very aggressive and will take over dem zoysia. My sod been down and bout a month already. There were some sod pieces dat was comtaminated with crabgrass and burmuda. Dee best and safest way I think to get rid of dem burmuda without harming your zoysia is to dig dem area dat has alot of burmuda out and replace it some new sod er plugs. I’m sure dem sod company will sell you several pieces of sod. And if you have crabgrass, just pull dem out by hand bestest you can how, they are fairly easy to pull, it just take a little time.
