bermuda going brown in Bexar

I live in San Antonio and have a Bermuda lawn. It started to come in very green with new growth about 3 weeks ago. In the past week, it has started to go brown throughout with only what can be desribed as swirls of green left (they look like snakes of green with the rest of the lawn brown). I’ve never seen this before and don’t know what to do. It isn’t from lack of watering.

First of all, you said that it isn’t from not enough water. You shouldn’t have to water right now. Also have you had any frost or cold weather lately. This will set it back sometimes causing winter kill.Don’t worry, bermuda will come back.
