bermuda 419 vs. tifsport

I live in Dallas, want to use 1/3 acre behind house to practice golf shots,,this is behind my ‘real’ backyard, so no sprinkler system in that area, but do have water (I’ll just have to use sprinklers)
I was just about settled on 419 but then read good things about tifsport,,,
I know nothing, please help meandy

Both types make a good choice…..Tifsport is lower growing and more cold tolerant(less winter kill). 419 has been the standard on fairways for many years.
I almost forgot Do Not over water. Floratan /Seville all strains of St. Augustine are suseptible to fungus from over…
